Has anybody ever used one of these? Is there a quicker and easier way to do the tests besides what the instructions say because it confuses me. I just want to know what everybody else experience from using this and a quicker way to do it.

I wouldn't skip any of the instructions steps. Those are there to insure that the regent is mixed properly. What part is getting you stumpped? I use that test kit right now.

I use it and think it's rather user friendly. What test are you having an issue with?

I use the same kit i just wish there was a better color chart to compare. Sometimes i can hardly tell what my ph is, if i think it's 8.2 my gf thinks it's 8.4 or my bro will think it's 8.0

some of the tests can be confusing at first, but once you do them once then it's like second nature. it is written as simple as possible on the back of the test cards. IMO the API test kits are an industry standard, but thats just my opinion

Try holding your test tube a little bit off the card to read it.

Every one of those readings are safe and healthy...if your kit shows a color that is bad and in the danger zone, and you can't tell it from the good color, then you have a problem.
All test kits that use a color chart is a little off IMO...it all depends on the ink available when they run the color code off in the machine.
Personally I like the instant ocean marine test kit...it has little color coded plastic chips and not an ink copy of the color needed to understand the results.

My experience API test tend to be easier and take less time then other test I have used. Electronic probes are the sweet way to go if you got the doe…
