Yeah, Im thinking about purchasing it but all I can find are reviews basically put out by the company writers but I want some first hand feedback.
Apple is continuing to gain my interest. They have come a long way,

Agreed, but I am interested in the difference between this box and say a media center pc, or windows media station..

Yeah I have been eyeing those as well , The only thing that holds me back is the chance of virus, I hear that Apple has better prtoection , I am in no way a technician so I dont know how much truth there is to that

see, and the media centers are so expensive , it just seems like a huge risk to me. I download alot of movies so I would be a virus magnet.

I have pretty much just been resorting to downloading movies and streaming them to the 360..Works ok for now, and is the same concept

The fact of the matter is that Apple's are just about as vulnerable to attack as PC's are when it comes to viruses. Its really a matter of numbers though. PC's have about 95% of the market share, so that it where most of the viruses show up. There are viruses targeted at Macs, just not as many.

Not necessarily true..The OS on Macs do not accept as much outside influence as the PC..Once you start loading nonMac programs, you are on your own..And I just do not like Apple..

Ocean-
Are you still looking at these..I got really interested and started looking into them..It is the same principle as sending to an Xbox360..You download, then transfer to the box and then watch it..The only plus is that it is wireless and it has HDMI..It does say that it will work with XP
