Appropriately Named: The Elegance Coral

Just picked this beauty up from a local reefer. He had it for over six months, but sold it to me because his clownfish were trying to host it. I know these have a reputation for being difficult, but I've always loved these corals and I couldn't pass up the chance to get a hardy specimen.

be careful that no sand gets on it....

He is great looking They just do not last in captivity. In over 30 years in the hobby I have only seen one last more then six months. Good luck make sure your water is spot on. Also if it starts to close and not open beware.

Man I am in love with this coral and good luck with it I would love to hear of more people having them for along time

I have had one for 1-year now and it is still doing great. I have it on the sand in a low flow area and it seems to be happy where it is.
