aptasia????

What exactly do you mean when you say shoot it witl Kalk or more to the point how would I actually do this.

That is not aptasia do not try and kill it. I have something similar in my tank..i beleive it is a type of palythoa polyp. It is just a normal soft coral.

actually . . . . I believe that is a mojano anemone. Similar to aptasia, spreads almost as easily, and just as much of a nuisance.
Palythoa do not have nearly as many tentacles. They have only an inner ring, and an outer ring. This has many more than that.
My vote . . . mojano . . .

actually . . . after clsoer examination, this may be a bubble tip. The tips on the tentacles are swollen just like a bubble.
Definitely an anemone, just don't know which one.

It doesn't look like any of the aiptasia I have encountered. Aiptasia tend to have longer tentacles and for the most part I believe only one ring of them. This guy looks to have a few rows.
