aqaurium critter

i have some type to critter that has eaten a crab or two. It has a lobster like tail and a small head. does anyone knows what this coulb be and how to get sid of it.

sounds like a matis shrimp, do a search for it.
even have a small descritpions in the inverts section.
best way to remove them is a trap of somesort. can buy them or make one outta coke bottle. these should also come up when u do a search.

yes, sounds like a mantis shrimp... just remember their other name, "thumbsplitter" shrimp. dont try to touch it!!! ouch!!!
