Aqua C Remora Pro problem?

I have an Aqua C Remora Pro on my 75 gallon. It is almost through cycling. The problem is that the skimmer is producing a crazy amount of wet bubbles. Even with the collection cup at its highest setting, the collection cup is filling in about 8 minutes. The water in the cup is clear, not dirty. Has anyone had this issue? Im not sure if its an issue with its breakin period; it has been running for 2 days straight (with no collection cup in since it would fill too soon).
Please Help!:help:

I am in the process of cycling my new tank and I have been running the Aqua C Remora skimmer w/ maxi-jet 1200 and I have had alot of microbubble which I guess is expected since it needs to break in. The only thing that was in my cup was some foam and 1/4'' of yucky water. Nothing all day today though.

Water conditioners like Safe Coat can make your skimmer go nuts. Did you add anything like that?

since you are just cycling, you may not have anything to skim. ?? I just hooked mine up, and am getting green nasty foam and water.

I have this pump on my new 90 gallon for about 1 1/2 weeks now. It was nuts at first. Would fill up fast and clear, then not fill much at all, but by about day 3 it was back to dirtier water but still not real thick and now it is wonderful! Took about 2 days to get 1/2 full and it was thick gross stuff and foam. I think you need to try and wait out the break in period. Now that my break in period is over I have to keep that rubber ring at the very bottom and keep my cup up at the highest level for this effect. It is amazing what is in that cup in a couple of days...my nitrites were 10 and are now 0. ps. I got the bubble eliminator box and have no micro bubbles now. I recommend it.

hey , i just had same problem last night. i did a water change and im so used to having a seaclone. wich is a piece of crap. i used a water conditioner from kordon called novaqua plus. filling a gallon jug in 1 hour. what i did was long tube from drain on skimmer to top of sump this way i didnt have to worry about flooding my floor. i did notice my saltwater paramiters got low, so i had to add salt . been about 10 hours now but evrything is ok. buy a conditioner that is skimmer freindly. good luck.
