Aqua C remora???

hi,
my remora has been in tank for about 2 weeks. it skims, but the skim isnt dark color.
what settings/height do i put the cup on to get a dark skim?
or light or dark same thing????

Give it time to break in. I have had that skimmer for about 5 months and it skims what looks like Coke. Really nasty stuff too. It did take about a month or so to get going. Give it some more time though.

Are you adding and suspension foods to your tank?? Specifically Kent's microvert? The skimmer will suck that stuff up as-is. But if your not adding anything then lower your black band so less liquid enters the cup. It will then be more foam, resulting in a darker goo.
