Hi guys, I think I need some help with my protein skimmer. I bought it used and after a little research, figured out how to put it together the right way. I know it needs either a direct feed from the overflow or a second pump to feed it. I tested it out in my sink with the water running from my faucet directly into the feed line. Everything worked OK except it did not create micro bubbles. It did how ever make a steady stream of larger (about the size of the head of an eraser). This doesn't seem right. Could it be because my faucet wasn't feeding enough water into the intake or is more likely that theres a problem with the needle wheel? I visually inspected it and it looked fine. Any help would be appreciated.
