AquaC Remora / Maxi Jet noise?

The MaxiJet 1200 on my AquaC Remora has developed a bit of a buzz lately. Cavitation? It's only every so often -- not constantly. I'm not sure why. Does the spray nozzle in the Remora need to be cleaned? I've only had it for a few months, but it was used. If so, how do I go about cleaning it (it didn't come with the little brush)?
Any ideas?

You can buy one of those brushes in any hardware store

Try cleaning the MJ out too. They collect gunk and grime in there and can cause a buzzing noise, not to mention reduced performance. I clean all my pumps and powerheads every 4-6 weeks.
AS for the brush, a small 1/2" brush at any LFS would do.
