AquaC remora vs. EV 150

I have an 84g tank and have been reading that hang on back skimmers aren't as good with this size tank. I have a wet/dry but the pump takes up all the room so i was thinking about setting up a 10g sump to put a protein skimmer in. Should i get the remora pro or the EV 150.

The remora's are either rated up to 75 gal or 75+ (pro) for the hang-ons. The EV 120 is up to 150, not sure of the specs for the 150. I always like to have as much skimming as possible so I would vote for the 150. By the way, you can DIY plumb the EV so it does not have to sit in your sump/ wet-dry

Sorry for the dumb question but what is "in line". I don't know much about plumbing stuff.

"in-line" means you are plumbing the skimmer into the water flow line of your overflow pipe or into your return.
You can actually buy some PVC (glue and all related fittings) and plumb from the bulk head fitting on the EV pump up and over the edge of the sump and then plumb a seperate line back to the EV.
It works best in the sump -- it will only displace about a gal of water at most......but if you have space issues you will have to plumb
Good Luck
