I just purchased an aqua c remora with the rio 1400 pump. I also purchased the skimmer box to go with it. The outlet of the 1400 is on the top of the pump and fits into the inlet pipe of the aqua C.
The instructions for the skimmer box state that the box should slip right over the pump. Unfortunately, it doesn't. It would, except that the cord coming out of the back of the pump will obviously not fit into the skimmer box. Am I missing something? Is there a trick to this that I am just not seeing?
(I verified that the skimmer box is the one that is supposed to work with the RIO1400.)
