Aquafuge Update

I just got in my CPR hang on aquafuge today for my Eclipse 12. I had to cut the hood and used a small saw and it was no problem. It does not look proffesional but you cannot see the back of the hood anyway. Then I hung it on the back and there ya go! It is extremely easy too hook up and it runs right out of the box. The only dissapointment was its lack too really clear up my display. Although I got my heater out to run the fuge you need a powerhead (comes with it) The powerhead looks displaced and bad but I am going to think of a way to get it out.

Have you tested to see if it might overflow your aquarium in the event of a power outage?

Mine will overflow my system, but i put it on a battery backup surge protector. I think the powerhead will run off of the surge protector for at least a couple of hours...
