What do you think of using the Coralife 24" aqualight on a 65 Gallon tank that measures 36Wx18Dx25H. The 34" and 36 " have the same bulbs (1150HQI and 2 65Watt 21" square pin) I was looking at the 36" but the MH bulb would be over the center support and I am afraid that it would melt it. I would plan to offset the light to one side enough to clear the center brace. There would then be no light directly over one side of the tank.
1. Is this enough light for the 65 tank?
2. Will the offsetting of the light Cause any problems for either side of the tank?
3. What do people do when a tank has a center brace?
4. Is there any difference using the 24" vs 36" light?
5. Any other thoughts on this light or another light suggestion?
