preventative i guess, i heard that with one you dont have to water change as often plus i wont have to worry as much as the corals start filling in. if they are as good as the company makes em out to be.

Don't fall prey to false hype about "NO WATER CHANGES"......Use your existing skimmer and water changes would work better than your proposed purchase. Possibly a small HOB fuge would be a better preventive measure.

+1 Good maintenance and husbandry fights off most of the problems in our tanks,,,,the rest is equipment and luck, lol
I dont normally believe in 'preventative' type items... I feel if Im trying to prevent something, something else is gonna bite me in the ***, when im not looking

I think Flower has been using it, or did use it. I didn't follow along with what her results were, try PM'ing her about it.

I have two, one on the SH tank and one on the 90g. I did have nitrate problems, and SHs are very messy. My nitrates are 0 on both tanks. I also do my water changes, although I did not at first to test the Aquaripure...it did bring my nitrates to 0 without water changes, so It does what it claims to do....but if you don't have a nitrate problem why spend the money.
