Aquarium question

I currently have a 75 gallon semi-reef aquarium that unfortunately has a small crack in the lower right hand corner under the trim. I know so because from that area, salt creep keeps moving up on the glass from that spot so there has to be some small leak or something. So worrying that it may break eventually I am looking at getting a new tank. Here is my question: I have the option of getting -
A used 75 gallon tank with built in overflows (the cylindrical type that stick up out of the bottom of the tank), stand, and tidepool filtration system with plumbing as well for $200.
Or just splurging and getting a brand new tank?
Now I really liked the bowfronts and wanted to possibly get the 72 gallon bowfront and stand. Yet another thought I had was that I already have the filtration system from my tank (Sealife systems wet/dry filter) as well as the stand from it, so really I only need to get a new tank. What should I do? Is the overflow system that is built in so much better? Do I go with the one that I can get for $200 that has everything with it, but is used? Or do I get a new tank either just the tank, or even a bowfront with built in overflows on that?
Please help!!

Unless you have seen the crack with your own eyes, I wouldnt worry. It honestly just sounds like salt is creeping up from the trim. Could it possibly be just from water dripping down the glass behind the trim from when you stick your arm in the tank for maintenance like doing water changes?

we have a 90 gallon tank. . . at one point it started leaking from the front right corner under the trim i suppose...it dripped for 4 days and slowly stopped. we used super absorbent chams around the spot it dripped and the floor stayed dry. a month later i noticed creep around the area of trim and wiped it all of with a rag and windex; the next day it was leaking again and stopped after 4 or 5 days. it hasnt leaked since, and i dont super clean that spot. i assume the salt creep plugged any type of leak we have...and its very minimal salt along the trim now.
