After a year with my nano tank, I had a huge lost due to deaths of my corals. I lost everything. I took a month to go back to the drawing board, drew up an outline of my new tank set up, and have a game plan set in motion. This is where I'll record it's progress!
Tank Start Date: March 29, 2008
Specs:
Live Rock: 30-40 pounds
Live Sand: Maybe 2lbs? It's a 2 inch sandbed.
Tank Brand: BioCube
Lighting: Stock
Filter: Stock cartridges, + a bag of carbon floating in Chamber 1. Stock Sponge.
BioMedia: Mixed BioBalls + Live Rubble
For now, I have no fish, I'm still in the cycling stage, and my levels are nearly perfect (I already had my Nitrate "bloom", so thank god that's over.) The only thing with my levels is pH, which is 8.4 at the moment. Hopefully either this week or next week I'll be bringing home a damsel to swim around.
