Any suggestions on how to aquascape an eel tank?
How i've always wanted it is like a half oval mound centered in the tank so it is open all around. Want to get rid of the pvc tunnel or keep the smaller one and add it into the mound.
Anyone have pics similar to my idea or advice on how to do this?
Im not that great with AS so any help is appreciate. Thanks

um put like small rocks (baseball size) as the foundation then put the big ones on top(bowling ball size+)
kinda so theres about 1" caves under the big rocks. they'll curl up under the lil openings.
i have some pics on my thread of what i did if you want2 check it out

I actually went the other way. I started with the biggest pieces as the foundations and worked my smaller as I went up. Since I didn't want a big rock crushing my eels "IF" they come loose. Remember your eel will swim around the bottom of the tank and will push rocks around so I like bigger bases.
I started laying the bases down and moving my fist through them to make sure there was room to manouver through them.
I started halfway out in the tank and leaned as I went up so it made a tunnel down the entire back of the tank. Then I added cave entrances at both ends and several places in the middle and top. My 30" DME swims loops throw the caves and seems to love his tank.
Not sure this video will show you, but if you wait till the end of it you can see the back cave down the back of the tank.
