So, I log into SWF.com every work day to keep up in the background. On the home page for the forums there is a section that shows how many members and guests are on the site. Most days it shows between 50-100 members. Now all of the sudden there is like 350 members, all the names are a first and last name along with some numbers ( i.e. lukedillard5142)
Did the site get hacked??? Is this some computer making user profiles that are not real?
I guess that it really does not matter but it is kind of weird to see.
Has anyone else noticed this???

Folks sign up and then lurk invisible. Some post once, and never come back...

That is odd.
I also look at the members online list from time to time and I usually see the same thing you do, maybe 35-50 members.
I looked at the profile of about a dozen of these new "members" at random and see they all joined today within the last 2 hours.
I do not believe these are real "members". NONE of them are looking at any posts, just logged onto the site.

I've noticed a really high volume of "spam" accounts trying to get onto the SH forum lately...fortunately, they have to be validated, and typically never get past that process. I bet the same thing is happening here.

I see a lot of them have been created this morning too.....I am not sure if we can mass delete or not...I will have to check with admin
to go thru them one by one will take forever...LOL.....and I don't have time for that
