in the past few days i found a few hermits bodyies out of their shells i was wondering if it was them growing and removing their shells or dying?
are my herbit dying or growing?

Hard to say for sure. Like all invertes hermit crabs do molt, and as they molt and get bigger, they will need larger shells. But they also die - and usually get eated by other hermits. Sometimes other hermits will pull them out of their shell and kill them for the shell. Silly little things
