are my hermits eating my zoo's or just cleaning them up?

well i came home today.. and looked at my newly purchased zoo's and well they are opening up nicely but foud a hermit crab in the middle.. and all the zoo's are either eaten or just closed up.. anybody know more about this then i? thanks..

The hermits are most likely cleaning and the zoos just closed up b/c of this. What hermits do you have?

yeah when i looked into it further i didnt notice any marks on them.. they are hermits i got from the LPS.. but he has grey legs.. and is growing fast actually..
