Are My Snails Laying Eggs??!!??

I just bought about 200 nassarius snails. I put them in my tank about two days ago and now there are about 200 to 300 little white sand like dots all over the glass and live rock. Are these eggs??? What should I do? Any advice would be great!

you put 200 snails in a 55 gallon tank :scared: !!!
you only really need 1-2 per gallon at most. and the white is indeed eggs. i get them all the time from my cerith snails but none of them actually make it to adult size

That is just bananas!

The only reason I put 200 in there is cuz we are giving 100 to the fish store for credit and 50 to our friend. We got them off ---- for about 10 bucks and shipping was 13 so 23 dollars for 200. The fish store is going to give us 30 cents a snail so we will get them for free.
