Are red crabs reef safe?

Went to the LFS and saw red crabs. Most people seem to have green ones and when i asked if it was reef safe he didn't know. I did like they way they looked and do want one if they will be safe for a reef. Anyone know any reason not to get one?

Are they small and red? If so, then yup, they're reef-safe and very good cleaners, IMO. I like them more than blue-legs because they're easier to spot and add more color.
