I have a 46 gallon and eventually want to get a starfish.. But am unsure if it will get along with my Florida Condi anenome? Can anyone give me any recomendations? And is this a good idea? I want something that will get down into the sand at times to sift it up.... I just orderd 50 nassarios snails so they are my next venture to any new additions....
Any info would be appreciated?
Thanks

With the snails (and that is a LOT of snails), sand bed stirring is not what you will need. Go for the brittle stars (stay away from the large green ones). If you want other stars, stick to those from Fromia species. Linckia stars rarely live long in captive systems. Your tank is a little small for a sand-sifting star as well so I would pass on that IMO.
Most all stars will get along with the anemone. Stick with those that I mentioned or those that are "reef safe". Some stars however will clean a reef clean....anemones and all!
Good luck
