I have a coral banded and wanted to add maybe 1 or 2 more shrimps. which ones are compatible with the coral banded? (in a 29g btw)

Bang Guy is the reef bug expert on this message board, but I will be happy to add my 2 cents. All three of those are about the same and very compatible as far as I have read in my critter book. As far as a coral banded, mine is fine with my cleaners and my peppermints , but I added the cbs last. I think they might be a little territorial if added first.

Theya re completely compatible.
AS for the CBS, in most cases, NONE, but some have had luck, in larger tanks(100 or 150+ gallon). Otherwise, normally they do not mix well with others.

CBS are pretty mean- always kept my pepermints and cleaner to one side of the tank -not to mention he ate 6 of my hermits- possibly more and ripped half a fin off of my twinspot goby

yeah i would do cleaner, pep and fire together and cbs together by themselves. dont mix cbs and the other three because things can get messy. many people do keep them together, but many more have lost lots because of them. its your call though!

I have all four types of shrimp and have no problems with mine, just make sure there is enough hiding places in your lr for each to have his own space.:)
