I HAD SOME FLOWER POT CORAL THAT DID WELL FOR A LONG TIME. WHEN IT DIED I BROKE APART THE SKELETON TO FIND 5-6 SMALL BRISTLE WORMS &WHATappeared TO BE 4 SMALL BRITTLE STARFISH. I HAVE 1 LG. BRITTLE IN THE TANK.ARE THEY ASEXUAL? IF THEY ARE SM. BRITTLES COULD THEY HAVE KILLED THE FLOWER POT? I HAVE ALSO SEEN WHAT APPEAR TO BE BABY SANDSIFTING STARFISH. I HAVE 2 BIGGER ONES. IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Welcome to the site.
No, the tiny brittle stars won't get any bigger, they stay tiny and are a normal critter of live rock. They are completely reef safe. Flowerpot coral is very hard to keep alive. They do good for awhile then just close up and die.
