Are Tunze really worth their money

The price is a little steep IMO, but they are quality pumps and very few things will give you the same amount of flow.

I have two modded Tunze NanoStream 6025's, and I couldn't be happier with them. From what I've heard, Tunze's customer service is top-notch, and they will stand behind their product if you should have a problem. That's something to consider too.

Oh, another thing I forgot to mention on the Tunze is that they are not obtrusive in the tank at all. The NanoStream 6025's are only about the size of a baseball, so they're not an eyesore in the tank at all.

I'll let you know after this weekend. I'm picking up a used set of 2x6100 w/magnets + 7095 controller tomorrow. Hopefully it will get installed sometime in the beginning of next week when hubby is home. I dont' want to mess up his setup :)

Spidey - how much did you find them for?
Do you think the 2 6025's will move enough water for a 3 foot 58 gallon? That is what about 40 times turnover?

I have two 6025's in my 3 foot 65 gallon, and it is plenty of flow. However, mine are modded so they do push more water than a stock 6025. The mod is very simple, all you do is remove the ******** housing around the impeller. The only downside is occasionally they will suck water in when you first start them up instead of blowing it out, but all you have to do is put your hand over the outlet for a second or two and it reverses the impeller.
