Are UV's worth it?

In larger tanks are they worth the investment? Will have a 120 tank with 55 refuge and 20 gallon LR tank and 30 sump

Maybe in a QT tank but IMO -- use in a DT no.
It kills everything good and bad -- bad shouldn't be there to begin with. Also the effectiveness depends on how clean the area stays for the light to kill it.

No. People frequently flock to them early in their career in the hobby, but you'll find that most experienced hobbyists have theirs sitting in a closet gathering dust.
IMO a quarantine tank might benefit, but their usefulness in a DT does not justify the high purchase price and surprisingly high recurring costs (lamps, consumables,etc).
