My Mandarin for some reason thought that he should go visit the my powerhead...
I have no idea how long he was caught up in the back of it, but his tail is completely tore up and his top fin is kinda ragedy looking. Both of his side fins appear intact though because he was able to swim to the bottom and around a little bit. Now's he's just kinda sitting there.
I turned the lights off and place some food close to him but he doesn't look like he's moving to much. I really like this guy i've had him for 5-6 months, hopefully he lives i had trouble finding one this big.

my shrimps love hanging around the powerheads, well their long antenna things always go right into the powerhead getting it snipped, you would think they would learn their lesson the first time, an hour later they just dangerously move their antenna near the power head... i had to put the guard on now, hope it works

My freinds lawnmower blennie would (this is actually kinda funny) swim by the power head and stop swimming and rest at the bottom of the PH. He would let it suck him to it so that he could rest for a bit or maybe it felt good, who knows, but he would rest there for a couple minutes then leave, then a while later would go back to it and get sucked to it again and just sit there and then swim away again. i didnt see it happen but i was cracking up just hearing about it.

I lost a lawnmower Blennie that wasy once. The filter had fallen off the powerhead. The new lawnmower has much more personality. I can tell when my 1 micron filter is clogged Because this yellow fish that I have will go into the outlet and just hang out in there.
I once lost a small true percula clownfish. About a week and a half later I was cleaning out my 1 micron filter and there was the clownfish. He was fine.
