arrival of bta

I am waiting on an arrival of a bta and thought I better find out how to put it into the tank before it gets here. I was planning on a slow drip acclamation over about 2 hrs. I believe this is the right thing to do, however a site claimed I should do a iodine dip first. I dont think so, but thought I should check. Any info would be great.

There are many ways , but go along the instructions SWF give you with the nem in case something happens and will be covered on their guarantee . Depending on where I get them , I either float and put in or float and drip . I`ve never had a problem either way .

Anemones dont really acclimate like fish. They basically expell and then draw in new water.....Some believe temps are not even an issue with them but I would at least temp acclimate it...if you dont want shipping water in your tank then waite or make the anemone expell the water and then place in the tank or then drip tank water for it to expand with...For a BTA, when placeing in the tank, locate it high and with the foot in a hole/cave....It might just like it there and not move far.
