Arrowana in Saltwater?

Hi. I just have to ask this question since the guy at my LFS is insistant on being right about it.
I have a Jardini Arrowana and an Ashara Cat in a 55 gallon tank for right now. I plan to upgrade them to a 150 when they get bigger. They are each only about 5-6 inches right now.
Now I know that these are freshwater fish but when the guy at my LFS found out that I just bought my new 200 gallon as was running as Saltwater he has been "insisting" every time I go in there that I should put theses two fish in the Saltwater tank. I keep telling him I don't think that they would be able to live in Saltwater but he is insistant that if I acclimated them over slow enough that they would do fine in a FOWLR set up.
Now I have already planned on putting a few eels in the tank but not sure at this point about what else.
Does anybody here have any idea if this man is right or wrong? I can't seem to find any information that would prove that he is. Thanks

Arrowana can tolorate only slightly brackish water, if you where to try to acclimate one , i would bet that it would not survive. I am not to sure on the cat as i don't reconize the name. But the only cat fish that i have seen that can take brackish water are silver sharks or black finned cats (same species differnt names :p).
I have actually taken a brackish tank and turned it in to a full salt water tank. though I used brackish water gobies and a leopard puffer. I think you can tell this guy at the LFS , If he gets those fish in and he can set them up as salt water you may consider it. But basically tell him to PROVE IT !
:D
