Artificial Plants?

I have heard about using fake plants in pipe fish tanks. I was wondering if this is a good idea.???

oh...ok that is great. i have some old fake plants from a freshwater tank that i had many years ago. !

Just be careful as some freshwater fake plants are not safe for saltwater tanks.

The only reason I don’t like fake plants in a DT is that they look FAKE

some of the plastic ones may leach - not sure
google Saltwater SeaGarden Plants - they are more like silk plants and not bad looking.

Tetra Water Wonders make nice saltwater safe plastic plants.
It's just some are not designed to withstand saltwater and leach into the water like Teresa said.Also some may have some kind of metal in them.
