Ok, I have been reading the board steady the last couple days. I have come to the reilization that there is alot to learn about building a top flight saltwater aquarium. I have a 55 gal tank to build, what would you do. I want good equipment. I have not started yet, and I want awsome colors, I live in North Pole AK, and its dark all winter, I think this will really break up the monotony of the long winter dark and -40 weather in jan./ feb.:help: Looking at some of the pictures you have posted, they are awsome.

In that case, definitly some heaters.

Since that you live where it is cold 3/4 of the year I would try to build a tank of acyrlic to help with insulation.

I neve thought of that option Reef Eel thank-you. The house does stay warm, we don't live in igloos......hahahaha
