i can't decide what brand of protein skimmer i want. the ASM mini G is supposed to skim good and even though barely anybody has the Turboflotor Blue by Aqua Medic i've been told its a very good brand too. pricewise...i can get a mini G for $120 (rated for tanks up to 75) or the turboflotor blue for $130 (rated for tanks up to 150). the obvious choice would be get the turboflotor for $10 more cause it can go 75 more gallons than the mini G...but i dont want to get a piece of junk. im leaning towards the turboflotor blue though cause Aqua Medic is such a good brand. anybody know of these two skimmers or brands and how they are? thanks. (my DT is 36 gallons and my sump is around 10-15 gallons)
