I have seen a few in my tank here recently and was wondering if a Harliquin Shrimp would eat these stars? I dont have enough to support one now but, in the future.

Harliquin shrimp eats them, but why feed them to a shrimp when they do not hurt anyhting. I have em in all my tanks and think they are pretty neat. I have also heard all kinds of horror stories on how they devastate corals and live rock etc, but mine have never hurt a thing as far as I can tell and spend most of their time inside filter inlet tubes or in nooks and crannies in the tank scarfing down what I presume is algae etc.....And I have certianly not seen them explode in populations like a lot of folks claim....ANyway they are easy enough to pick out if need be.

And what happens when the stars run out? If you are interested in creating a species tank for harlequin shrimp than I suggest setting up a smaller system to culture asterina stars (it is a ecologically sound way to support these shrimp, IMO).,
However if you are just trying to get rid of the stars, I would reconsider the shrimp.
