pitfall was sweet. the rest are poop. atari was cool but i was still playing it 3 years after nintendo came out so i was the looser of the neighborhood

We didn't have the 2600, but we did have the 5200, and the 7200. The 5200 only had a couple limited games, played River Raid, and a baseball game the most.
On the 7200, which played all of the original 2600 games, Adveture, Dig Dug, a pinball and football game, were the ones we played.
However, IMO my absolute favorite without a doubt, was Pole Position. The OG of driving games. I played for hours and hours.

Funny to see how things have changed and how others take credit for gui's
On our PET we used a pakage from berkley software solutions. Not really color but orange and black.
I rember running CPM+ and Being outraged at the claims microsoft was making. Dam am I old. Press Play on your cassette and watch Archer hunter load up!! And it only took 5 minutes till you got started.
