I just purchsed this item can someone tell me if this is easy to use? and if it was worth it?

ridiculosly simple to use, very accurate, and WELL worth it. I have the exact same one.
Do a search on here for it, there was a long thread about this a few weeks ago.

VERY EASY to use and yes well worth it. Checking it against my hydrometer really showed just how much hydrometers can be off. Well worth it IMO.

Yeah, Justin, that was my thread. It keeps popping up recently. It'll got a few weeks w/o a hit, and then pop to the top for a week, then drop again. Just recently someone, in the last few days, replied to the post, and it's back again. I got one a couple of weeks ago and they are awesome. The first night I ran around testing all my tanks, makeup water, etc.

I bought one from this same guy.
It arrived in 2 days.
He has also made me several offers on other items at ridiculously low prices
to use it you just focus it and add 2 drops of water with a dropper that is supplied, close the lid onto the water and look thru lens
it showed me that my salinity meter was saying 1.024 and it actually was 1.021 by the refractometer

yeah I agree, I just got mine in the other day and I had know idea what i was doing. Once you play around with awhile its very simple.
