Atlantic Anemone

Are Atlantic Anemonies agressiv and will they eat fish I think mine ate a clown I know he had the skin shell skeilton of a humpback shrimp that molted
any comments would be appreciated

they are aggresive but they have been known to accept clown fish but there is always a risk that your fish and shrimp might get eaten by your anemone this is why most of the time i get synthetic anemones. clownfish don't need anemones to be happy some clownfish you get at the store have never seen an anemone. a clownfish's resistance to anemone's nematocysts depends on how much he's around that anemone, clown fish will be happy hosting just about anything in your tank even if you have an anemone the clownfish may never accept it as its host.
