My mother bought a 5-6 inch atlantic blue tang last saturday for her reef tank. The tang was in a large tank with sparce rock or cover with a 8+ inch yellow tang, and he was a pretty blue color. Then the new girl went to net him and chased him for atleast ten min until I insisted and took over, then making quick work of it. Thats when he changed to a ugly yellow with blue only on his fin tips and a light pattern on his sides. He attacked the algae right a way and is now a hog at meal time. His color gets almost bue once in a while but nothing like he was and my mother said they switched fish on her. He is the king of the tank over a fire fish, two yell tail dams, one coral beauty, one lawn mower bln, a pin cush s.urchin and marg snails.
