What can anybody tell me about this type of fish? Behavior, water parameters, feeding, etc.? Thanx in advance!

Well Atlantic blues are a tang so just like all tangs need lots of greens to eat on. Usually seaweed selects. They also like a varied diet which could also include brine and mysis shrimp, emarald entree, squid and others. They are prone to disease just like all tangs but are farly good compared to others such as powder blues and achilles. They need a ph of 8 to 8.3 and around a temperature of 76 to 80 but can probably live fine in up to 82 althoguh i wouldnt recamend it. They need fairly low nitrates, 0 is best but will do ok in under 20. They are very active and are great fish for any reef or fish only tank. the only thing i dont like about them is their dark blue coloration that they all get when they are full grown but juvenilles have a more varied color with shades of yellow and blue. They do need a fairly large tank when adults but will do fine in as samll as your fourty untill they are alittle bigger but i wouldnt recamend anything smaller because of them being so active.

One other thing to add. The Atlantic blues are Acanthurus sp. tangs. This species is usually more delicate than Zebrosoma sp. tangs.
