Attach Live Rock To Glass

Can LR be attached to glass . With what ? Wanting to do the back of my 125 all in LR like stacked field stone fireplace.Any ideas.

The tank is dry right now? Google Foam Rock Egg crate, or something like "my foam rock tank" There are many people right now doing Great stuff expansion foam, rock, and egg crate backdrops for their DT's. It's not too complicated and looks phenomenal. The big reef message board has many posting there.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to use real LR to get the bio filter help.

They are using base rock, which after some time becomes live rock....After the cycle is complete, the biological bacteria is intact. so it will be intavt on ANY surface area. Including the base rock. It would take time for it to become live with pods, worms, etc., but just the cycle time to become live with bacteria.

If you're covering the entire back panel then I think foam would be the safest way to go. Just epoxying rock to the glass could be bad if it fails.
Search through the threads. Zip-tie some rock to eggcrate cut out to the contour you want and fill the gaps with foam.
