Attaching a fuzzy shroom

I just bought a large fuzzy mushroom the LFS that wasn't attached to anything. I have a piece of live rock that I would like to attach it to. The guy at the LFS said to lean a small piece of live rock against the shroom to hold it against the rock that I want it to attach to. I have been trying that but it just doesn't seem to stay in place. Do you all have any suggestions??? Thanks!!!

Get a small container and put both in there....it's not gonna happen overnight but it will attach. Leave it all in the tank for a few days.

You can also put a container of crushed coral pieces in your tank and put the mushroom on top, after a week the mushroom will have attached to some of the coral pieces and you can use crazy glue gel to attach it any where you desire.

what works best for me is: get some bridal mesh from a fabric store, two rubberbands, a piece of rock rubble. put the shroom on the rock. wrap around the rock once with the mesh. hold the mesh down on the corners with the rubberbands.
