Attaching Retro

I just bought 2 175W Retro Fit MH's but I forgot to ask how to attach them to the hood. They get SO hot I'd imagine I'll need some barrier between the metal pieces and the wooden top right? What would I use for that and how would I go about attaching it to a hood? I don't see any

holes so I must be missing some visual on how to attach it.

Just use the little ceramic spacers between the back of the reflector and the flat of the inside of your hood where your mounting it/them.
Nearly anything will work from a simple stack of a couple washers to a custom stand-off made from ceramic. Just cut some frag plugs in half and drill holes in them to run a mounting

As for mounting holes. you have to drill them yourself and since every application is configured a little differently the makers leave it to the consumer to make them fit properly.
