attack of the decorator crab

My decorator crab decided he like my leather coral. Last night he stripped the trunk of most of the outer skin. Is there any hope for the leather. Is there any treatment I should do to help? I guess my crab needed a new leather coat for winter

Yeah, leathers are tough...if that part starts to die you can frag off the healthy big but...it just might be ok on it's own as long as your water's ok.
(ew...can you imagine wearing a leathercoral jacket? yummo!)

That's the price you pay when you have a decorator crab I guess..

Is there any medication that need to be put in the tank to help it recover?

I think the best you can do is leave it alone. Leathers don't like to be touched much.
