ATTENTION all NANO EXPERTS !!!!

i'm thinking about upgrading my lights. is 150W metal halide too much light for a 24 nano or is 70W enough?
does anyone have the " K-2 VIPER" ?
also, do metal halides have a longer life capacity than Power Compacts?

Well... What type of corals do you plan on keeping? The 150 watt would be good if you want to go heavy into lps/sps.

I have the 150w and you should change the bulb every 8 months or so... The difference in price is not that much and if you get the 150w your option are endless!!

Really there isnt too much, you can always move it away from teh tank, however it is probably cheaper to get a nanocustoms PC kit for an upgrade, because theres less heat, and it does the same job in a 15" tall tank. Ins not the power consumption of the light, its all in how many lux or lumens per square centimeter are emitted. That is the philosophy T5's work on.
