I think it could be argued that they are both armageddons, although Rebel's have clearer markings. This is why you always want to see a picture of what you are buying.
But just for the sake of argument, and as Cranberry was saying, who does get to decide? One of the most common thread types in this forum is "ID this zoa!" and then the poster gets distraught if he/she doesn't get an answer. So which is the better course of action, not answering or saying "armaggedon" even if you think its a weak resemblance?
And if one person says "armaggedon" and no one else answers, does that make it okay for the person to mark the price up and sell them as armaggedons at $40+ per polyp?
To be honest, I don't understand why there is so much emphasis on the names - there are many more colors than names, IMO. So if someone was selling a zoa as a Armaggedon look-a-like and I liked the picture, I would be interested enough to consider purchasing, but less so if they listed it as an Armaggedon at the retail rate followed by a flurry of posts debating whether they were true arms or not... I am more than happy to buy "red zoas with green skirts" if I like the way they look....
Just thought to stir a debate a little
AS CFR would say...discuss..
