Ok, you were right on the telephoto on the Cannon G3.

Its going back tomorrow. Weird how the first look into the lens is the circle of the "telephoto". You always have to zoom past that. :nope: Its basically a magnifying glass on the camera lens.
Oh well, I tried. At least I have my 28-300 on my 35mm :yes:

Yep, the ADD on telephoto is basically putting a magnifying glass on the lens. You first see a black cirlce through your camera. Kind of like looking through binoculars.
The G3 is awesome !

LOL.......I was taking some pictures off of my media card and I found the picture that I took with the telephoto.....this is the vinguette (vinyet) that you see everytime you use the camera and makes you zoom past it.
