A few of the south east Queensland Aquarium society members went down to the movie set for somewhere a bit different on a shrimp hunt at one of the very low tides on a friday in mid August, there wasn't much there as it is not the best spot but they had excelent conditions for the days low collecting and something interesting to look at.
The peppermint shrimp are all along the coast in the soth east but we went to check out the movie set as well.
These are the shrimps we were after apart from the boxer shrimp, pistal shrimp and small fish variations as lion fish food.

An ocy not overly happy to see humans.

Not a good snail to have in the aquarium, mulberry whelk (Morula marginalba),they can actualy bore holes into other shell fish.

A few members of the clean up crew,Constricted top snail (Austrocochlea constricta).

One veiw of the set.

Danny just below the movie set with his catch, they start filming on monday.
