I hate to sound argumentative, but it's tough for us (at least me) to have any opinion on the situation if you don't give us some details. Let us know what happened so we can decide for ourselves, and aviod them too.

well first they have a good selection. A+.. second i felt i got ripped off.. when i placed my order i never recieved a confirmation on my order, then they shipped without calling me and my order was setting outside on my sidewalk in 30 degree weather.. third.. they charged me more for shipping than i had purchased , which they do not tell you about beforehand.. they charge 20$ for packaging and an additional charge for shipping and handleing... then my stuff died the next day, except for my blue & green mushroom but he still acts funny... i just feel if i would have know it was going to be so expensive i would have bought from my lfs... i called them about this situation and their customer service was very rude and hung-up on me.. they can eat s_ _ t..

Unfortunately I have had an equally ill feeling about Aquacon. The do have a good selection but their presentation is a major F. Their web page looks as if it was created by 10 year olds. I bought a bamboo shark from them once because it was incredibly cheap. So cheap I couldn't resist not buying it. It died one day later and it of course was out of their warranty. They offered to give me a leopard shark in replacement for it. However this shark was normally priced at $450 but because my shark died after one day they decided to give me a deal of $350 for the shark. It was only 15" long. I can buy leopard sharks for $58. Rip off indeed. Then they shipped it in a HUMONGOUS box completely stuffed with filler material. Way down inside the box I found my shark sitting in about 3 gallons of water. He was placed in only two bags instead of the general 4 bags with newspaper lining. The box could have easily held about 30 gallon of water. I was not impressed with the shipping method at all. Their customer service in the 6 or 7 times I have called them have not a clue as to their current inventory.

the day my stuff died. i ca;;ed them and they said they would be glad to replace it, but i would have to pay for shipping again..about 60$ for something i just paid for and died the next day, then another 60$ ... i don't think so.. so everyone be warned....

I had the same problem with the Con artists...I purchased a tang and some live rock. First of all they sent me the wrong fish. I sent for a Naso Tang and got a Blue Hippo Tang!?!?! How could you mess that up, come on now, for real. Secondly they sent me live rock. It smelled like someone took a dump in the box when I opened it and it made me nearly vomit. All the pieces were the size of golf balls. If i wanted pebbles I could have gone out in my back yard for crying out loud.
I called them back and they said that they would send me new live rock if I paid to ship the old box back to them (so they could use it again) and paid for the shipping of the new rock to me. Now with the fish they tried to make me buy the Naso all over again!
Give me a break guys. This store is sooooooo backwards in their ways that they remind me of some LFS's. Big ole F in my book...
