Auto Overflow

I'm about to start my automatic overflow, and I've got a few questions
What do I do to set this up(haha)?
Does fresh or saltwater go into the top off bucket?
and
is it hard or easy to set up?

Do mean TOP OFF? if so it would be fresh water in the bucket... It should have two flots and you will have to put a pump in...

What more do you need to know...
