Auto top off

Well some of you know I've been pounded with work for school and because of this could not keep up my 3g. pico..I was wondering what you guys used to fill your tanks up... i assume I need a bucket a heater in there... and some kinda pump thing.. .please provide me with products and what I need excatly for it...

On my 90g tank...I use a JBJ ATO unit...a 10g tank under the stand filled with RO water, with a utility pump and 3/4th inch tubing. About $90.00 If I go on vacation I can use a larger tub set up next to the tank instead of he 10g.

Nice and that comes with everything except the heater and bucket? also does this have that stupid alarm still ?

I use what Flower uses...never had a problem.

Honestly, if you have the water topping off in your sump, you really do not need a heater in the top off bucket. The top off water is so minimal to get the float valve back up, that theres really no way that little bit will bring down your DT's temperature.
Oh wait.... this is for your 3G aquarium? If so you will probably need a heater then. Actually with a 3G pico, how much evaporation are you seeing a day?

Every 2-3 days is usally about 1/2 a gallon...which is quite a lot ...considering the size....any ideas?...also I was going to apply a simlar idea to my 28g as well... that uses a canister filter so ... I want to just get a overflowbox and then a ref. or something...
